Key Responsibilities

  • 1
    Work across Robinhood Financial (Introducing Broker) and Robinhood Securities (Clearing Broker) to learn the many aspects that comprise the operations of FINRA-registered broker-dealers
  • 2
    Partner with subject matter experts to analyze operational data, identify efficiency opportunities, and make process improvement recommendations, including automation and dashboard enhancements
  • 3
    Support small-scale technical projects such as reconciling datasets, improving data quality, or building Business Intelligence dashboards using tools like Retool or Superset
  • 4
    Deliver a capstone project applying analytical and problem-solving skills to a real operational challenge, culminating in a presentation to senior leaders

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking Bachelor's or Master's program in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028
  • Analytical mindset with experience performing analytics using SQL or Python
  • Curiosity about how brokerage operations, risk management, and market infrastructure work together in a fintech environment
  • Clear communication skills and comfort engaging with cross-functional teams
  • Intellectual agility — comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, and thinking critically about processes
