About This Role

The Data & AI Platform Architect works with clients on big data challenges using the Databricks platform, providing data engineering, data science, and cloud technology projects. This role involves designing and building reference architectures, creating how-to's, and productionalizing customer use cases. The ideal candidate will have experience in data engineering, data platforms, and analytics, with expertise in distributed computing and Apache Spark. The role reports to the regional Manager/Lead and involves working with the Databricks technical team, Project Manager, Architect, and Customer team to deliver technical components of the engagement. The Data & AI Platform Architect will also provide escalated level of support for customer operational issues and work with Engineering and Databricks Customer Support to provide product and implementation feedback.
