Key Responsibilities

  In this role, you can expect to Build a holistic, company-wide view of Chime’s performance, connecting member growth, engagement, and product usage to the financial and operating metrics that matter most to the business.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including hands-on work in data-focused roles delivering analyses for an executive audience.
• Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a similar analytical role before moving into data (highly valued).
• Strong financial acumen: fluency in financial statements, unit economics, and the KPIs investors use to evaluate business performance. Familiarity with public company reporting, earnings, and disclosures is a plus.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy. You reconcile numbers across sources, pressure-test your own work, and understand the stakes of getting it right.
• Agility and comfort with ambiguity. You reprioritize quickly, perform well under tight deadlines, and bring structure to open-ended problems.
• Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python for analysis.
• Strong business intuition and the ability to think holistically about how a company creates value (FinTech or financial services experience a plus).
• Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with experience distilling complex analyses into clear, concise narratives for senior leaders. Experience with Hex is a plus.
• A track record of building trusted relationships and working cross-functionally with many teams at once.
• Experience building data models in dbt, and fluency with AI coding and analytics tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor).
