Employer Response Scores

“No ghost listings” shouldn't be a slogan — it should be measurable. Response Scores track one simple thing: when real people apply to an employer, does anyone answer?

Where the data comes from

We never use fabricated, purchased, or scraped review data. Every data point traces to an application or a first-hand report. For the market-wide view of posting longevity and reposting, see The Ghost Job Report.

The thresholds (deliberately conservative)

Responsive employer

At least 5 tracked applications and a response rate of 40% or higher. Shown as a positive badge on that employer's listings.

Low response history

At least 15 tracked applications with a response rate of 5% or lower. We phrase this as history, not accusation — it means applicants rarely report hearing back, nothing more.

Below these sample sizes, no badge is shown at all. A handful of reports can never create a label.

Fairness & limitations

Employers: respond to your score

If you believe your score misrepresents how you handle applicants, we want to hear from you — we'll review the underlying data and correct genuine errors. The fastest way to improve a score is also the simplest: reply to applicants, even with a no.
