About This RoleAI processing…
Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality.
We’re looking for an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to help us to improve reliability and stability of Webflow’s customer-facing, production infrastructure, serving millions of page views per hour. Our product is used by over 2 million users world-wide across 190 countries, and you’ll help ensure our platform is secure and scalable for these users as tens of thousands of projects are launched on Webflow each month.
Key Responsibilities
- 1Please note: We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, to perform essential job functions, and to receive other benefits and privileges of employment.
- 2Upon interview scheduling, instructions for confidential accommodation requests will be administered.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- Have a background as an ops engineer with growing interest in code, or a software engineer background with growing interest in systems and infrastructure.
- Have 2+ years of experience operating or debugging distributed systems in a production environment.
- Are comfortable working in at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP) and want to go deeper.
- Have hands-on experience with Kubernetes workloads, and ideally exposure to GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Argo Rollouts.
- Have used an observability stack (e.g., Datadog, OpenTelemetry) to debug production issues like writing dashboards, alerts, or traces, not just reading them.
- Have used at least one infrastructure-as-code tool (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or similar) and want to build fluency.
- Can read and modify application code to help debug issues, even if you're not a full-stack engineer.
- Are willing to participate in an on-call rotation and follow incident management processes
- Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.
