We are looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support our infrastructure, deployments, security, and scalability as we prepare for our next growth phase.
This is a remote freelance position (approximately 20–40 hours per month initially), with the potential to grow over time.
Key Responsibilities
- 1Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure
- 2Maintain development, staging, and production environments
- 3Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
- 4Support deployments and release processes
- 5Monitor uptime, performance, and security
- 6Implement backup and disaster recovery strategies
- 7Configure domains, SSL certificates, and networking
- 8Support developers with infrastructure-related topics
- 9Improve scalability, reliability, and system performance
- 10Hetzner Cloud
- 11GitHub Actions
Requirements
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Experience with Hetzner Cloud or similar cloud environments
- Docker and container management
- CI/CD pipelines
- GitHub Actions
- Monitoring and logging tools
- Security best practices
- DNS, SSL and networking knowledge
- Backup and disaster recovery concepts
- Startup mindset
- Hands-on and pragmatic approach
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
