Key Responsibilities
- 1Pipeline and MQL targets — you set the number and you hit it
- 2Full-funnel strategy across paid, email, lifecycle, and campaigns
- 3Budget allocation and performance reporting
- 4Managing and developing a two-person demand gen team
- 5Marketing automation and attribution infrastructure
- 6Alignment with sales on lead quality, handoffs, and follow-through
Requirements
- 6–8+ years in B2B SaaS demand gen
- At least 2 years managing a team — you know how to coach, not just delegate
- Comfortable owning paid performance and systems, not just strategy decks
- Strong with data — you can build a dashboard, read attribution, and make a budget case
- Experience with PLG or product-led + sales hybrid is a strong plus
- Hands-on with HubSpot or equivalent; knows when to automate and when to keep it simple
- High ownership and grit: You operate like a founder of your function. You don't wait for direction, and you finish what you start.
- Sharp written communication: You can brief content teams, pitch leadership, and write the kind of clear copy that both humans and LLMs reward.
