Key Responsibilities

    Pipeline and MQL targets — you set the number and you hit it

    Full-funnel strategy across paid, email, lifecycle, and campaigns
  • 3
    Budget allocation and performance reporting
  • 4
    Managing and developing a two-person demand gen team
  • 5
    Marketing automation and attribution infrastructure
  • 6
    Alignment with sales on lead quality, handoffs, and follow-through

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years in B2B SaaS demand gen
  • At least 2 years managing a team — you know how to coach, not just delegate
  • Comfortable owning paid performance and systems, not just strategy decks
  • Strong with data — you can build a dashboard, read attribution, and make a budget case
  • Experience with PLG or product-led + sales hybrid is a strong plus
  • Hands-on with HubSpot or equivalent; knows when to automate and when to keep it simple
  • High ownership and grit: You operate like a founder of your function. You don't wait for direction, and you finish what you start.
  • Sharp written communication: You can brief content teams, pitch leadership, and write the kind of clear copy that both humans and LLMs reward.
