Key Responsibilities

• 1
  Improve and maintain our scalable data platform infrastructure on AWS, K8s, Confluent Cloud and Snowflake, ensuring high availability and reliability for all data consumers across the organization

  Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to understand their needs and continuously improve the platform's usability and self-service capabilities

  Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, ensuring our cloud environments are reproducible, auditable, and well-documented
• 4
  Operate and improve our data platform by optimizing workloads for performance, cost-efficiency, and resilience
• 5
  Build and refine CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) to enable fast, safe, and automated deployments across the data platform
• 6
  Evaluate and introduce new technologies and best practices to keep our data platform modern, secure, and future-proof
• 7
  Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation, sharing knowledge within the team and across the organization

  Implement and maintain comprehensive observability and monitoring (Datadog), creating actionable alerts and dashboards to proactively detect and resolve issues

  Participate in the team's on-call duty schedule

Requirements

• Strong data architecture experience , with a proven track record of solving complex data challenges in large or multi-team organizations
• Extensive experience with scalable data platforms in complex environments, including ownership of platform-critical applications
• Solid experience with a Cloud Provider (preferably AWS )
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
• Fluent in English , with strong technical communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
• Experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse solutions (e.g., Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift)
• The team provides tools, infrastructure, expertise and best practices to empower every Flix employee through data excellence and reliable infrastructure.
