Key Responsibilities

Architect and validate end-to-end, multi-product solutions that fit into customer ecosystems—often across multiple teams, regions, and lines of business.

Lead technical discovery, solution mapping, and validation strategy (workshops, demos, POCs) to remove architectural risk and secure stakeholder alignment.

Scope and validate architectures with emphasis on:

Identity verification and authentication flows (MFA, OAuth/OIDC, JWT, API-driven identity, step-up auth)

Secure-by-design architectures reducing fraud/abuse (signals, risk engines, rate limiting, secure enrollment)

Compliance and audit readiness (e.g., GDPR, DORA), data residency, and governance controls

Requirements

Track record building repeatable architectures/plays that scale across teams.
Familiarity with adjacent trust capabilities such as encryption/key management concepts, audit logging, incident response, A2P/10DLC considerations, and data residency architectures.

Perks & Benefits

Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota or Vermont : $160,500.00 - $200,600.00.

Based in Washington D.C., Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay Area): $169,400.00 - $211,700.00.

Based in New York, New Jersey, Washington State, or the San Francisco Bay area, California: $178,300.00 - $222,800.00.

This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

This role is eligible to earn commissions.
